for our Juvenile Law Department


Multnomah Defenders, Inc. is seeking to hire an attorney to represent clients on juvenile delinquency, dependency, and termination of parental rights cases under the Parent Child Representation Program. The attorney must be barred in Oregon and qualified to represent clients in both delinquency and dependency cases.


This position is represented by a Bargaining Unit. Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance provided. Generous sick time, vacation time, and annual merit based reviews with raises also provided. Starting salary begins at $70,000, or higher depending on experience and qualifications.



We will review We will review on a rolling basis. Ideal start date is early to mid-October. This position will be based out of our Eastside Portland office at the Lloyd Corporate Plaza. Some work from home options for COVID safety.


MDI is a non-profit public interest law firm established in 1983.We currently have over 50 attorneys and staff located in two office locations in
Portland, OR. Our Juvenile Law section is located in NE Portland and has a contractwith OPDS under the parent child representation

program (PCRP) to represent clients in juvenile delinquency, dependency, and termination of parental rights cases. Juvenile attorneys under the PCRP have caseload caps and work as part of a team with a trial assistant, investigator, and case manager to advocate for their
